About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform tasks under Pharmacist supervision to standards set by The Pharmacy Board of Australia, The Pharmacy Guild and QCPP
- Assist customers with prescriptions and general enquiries
- Assist Pharmacists in dispensing medications
- Counsel customers about medications
- Manage and replenish dispensary stock
- Update customer files and perform administrative tasks
Requirements
What you’ll need- Dedicated work ethic and a strong team player
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Experience working in the dispensary
- Strong eye for detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Must meet National Criminal History Check requirements
- Must hold appropriate working rights
- Ability to work in pharmacies throughout the shift, often standing for long periods
- Ability to perform repeated movements and lift heavier items during stock replenishment
