Key responsibilities & impact- Participate in a two-year developmental program to learn full-stack automation engineering
- Assist in supporting existing applications and/or development efforts
- Write high-quality code compliant with enterprise and industry regulations
- Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand business priorities
- Analyze and improve the efficiency of systems and services
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities to implement new technologies
- Create and execute test scenarios and plans for new and changed components
- Share knowledge with other IT business personnel

- Use automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins to automate use cases
- Work within Agile, XP, and Kanban delivery frameworks

Requirements
What you’ll need- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of experience (academic or professional) in a relevant IT position
- 6+ months of experience programming, developing, or coding
- Boot camps, Academies, Certifications, etc. seriously considered
- Experience with commonly used software engineering and design tools, including Python, PowerShell, YAML, algorithms, data structures, and front-end design
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment, writing and testing code, and delivering enterprise-wide applications
- Experience with cloud concepts and providers, including Azure, GCP, AWS, cloud security, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Experience with data integration and relational/non-relational databases
- Experience with cybersecurity and network security, including endpoint security, NIST standards, MITRE ATT&CK Framework compliance and regulation, risk management, and security architecture development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Demonstrated history of continuous learning, growth, and improvement
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a cohort
- Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role
