Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the evolution of equity trading and analytics products
- Balance product strategy, roadmap development, and delivery
- Modernize trading infrastructure and data pathways with scalable solutions
- Manage risk through automated fail-safe recovery mechanisms, real-time alerting, systematic back testing, system documentation, Jira follow-ups, and resolution of production incidents
- Measure capacity projections and iterate on a roadmap for real-time and historical platform headroom
- Coordinate the product development lifecycle across business, trading consultants, data scientists, and technology teams
- Participate in validation for scheduled system upgrades outside business hours
- Facilitate execution across multiple workstreams by managing priorities, tracking delivery milestones, and resolving cross-functional dependencies
- Analyze trading data and derive solutions to lower transaction costs for customers
- Develop trading capabilities, infrastructure, and algorithms to help clients achieve best execution
- Educate clients about market structure and trading tools and provide consultation on unique problems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or another relevant quantitative discipline
- Experience in systematic trading and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA) to improve trading algorithms
- Series 7, 57, and 63 to be obtained within a time frame set by the business unit
- Ability to analyze vast amounts of data and optimize outcomes of a complex trading system
- Attention to detail, discipline in execution, and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to optimize workflow, create scale and efficiency, and learn new things
- Data-driven thought leadership using verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of the US equity market, trading algorithms, and market microstructure
- Ability to coordinate delivery across business, quantitative, and technology teams
- Technical knowledge of Python, KDB/Q, Snowflake, and AWS
