About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of liquid processing and food projects
  • Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for mechanical and process issues
  • Support Service Sales and Customer Service Representatives with service agreements, emergency service, spare parts, upgrades, and modernization
  • Specify process equipment, including size and materials of construction
  • Assist with designing, estimating, and executing service projects
  • Apply knowledge of heat, process flow, mass balance, instrumentation, and production diagrams
  • Apply technical process and equipment design knowledge in food-industry applications
  • Support process optimization and product quality improvements
  • Write service tickets, start-up, inspection, and customer visit reports within 10 days of completed work
  • Submit timesheets, expense reports within 30 days, and other required paperwork on time
  • Recommend parts, customer inventory items, upgrades, and optimizations
  • Meet customers before service visits to review the work and after visits to discuss completed work and next steps
  • Provide accurate labor-time estimates for service visits and rebuilds
  • Provide basic operator training on equipment operation and preventive maintenance
  • Recommend improvements to service tools and procedures
  • Follow OSHA, company safety policies, and procedural guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar position
  • Rockwell PLC and HMI experience
  • Liquid Processing, UHT and aseptic experience preferred
  • Ability to read and understand instruction manuals, P&IDs, assembly drawings, PLC and HMI code
  • Ability to troubleshoot software, electrical, and mechanical problems
  • Skilled with hand and power tools for installing and servicing automated machinery
  • Proficient with Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
