Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop reliable, observable, and easy-to-operate backend microservices and data pipelines

Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong backend engineering experience in a production environment, designing, developing, and operating microservices at scale
- Solid knowledge of DevOps, including CI/CD, containerization, observability, and modern operational practices
- Hands-on experience with AWS, developing and operating services in production
- Hands-on experience with AI tools for software development, directing AI agents and reviewing, correcting, and strengthening generated code
- Senior-level autonomy, taking end-to-end ownership from solution design through production deployment
- Proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to ask questions and challenge assumptions
- Clojure is highly desirable
- Experience with functional programming, particularly Clojure, is a plus
- Knowledge of JVM languages, especially Java, is valued
- Experience with event-processing and messaging systems, such as Kafka or similar technologies, and high-volume data pipelines
- Fluency in English is not required, but familiarity with the language is valued
- Experience migrating workloads between cloud providers, such as GCP → AWS, is a plus
