About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Plan, research, write, and maintain documentation and learning content, including concepts, tasks, tutorials, references, and in-product learning
Use AI tools and workflows for drafting, structuring, technical validation, consistency checks, and content maintenance, applying human judgment and ensuring accuracy
Contribute to and improve shared AI workflows and automate content creation and maintenance processes
Partner with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand product requirements, interview subject matter experts, and explain complex technical details clearly
Test documented software and procedures, and identify product and UX gaps
Use documentation and learning analytics and user feedback to identify content gaps, prioritize work, and demonstrate impact
Improve information architecture, voice, and consistency across documentation
Manage multiple projects and reprioritize and communicate clearly when plans change
Mentor teammates and share practices that improve team work quality

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience writing or documenting enterprise or developer-facing software, with a portfolio or writing samples showing technical depth
Hands-on experience using AI tools and models in a writing workflow, such as LLM assistants, agentic coding tools, or custom prompts and skills
Ability to explain how AI output is evaluated and verified
Experience with docs-as-code: command-line Git, GitHub pull requests and reviews, Markdown, and common IDEs
Ability to set up, run, and troubleshoot software in technical environments, such as command line, containers, or Kubernetes, or willingness to learn quickly
Experience collaborating with engineers and product managers to obtain accurate technical information
Experience working remotely and asynchronously on a distributed team
Curiosity about AI workflows and ability to experiment and share effective practices
Technical credibility and ability to learn new technical domains quickly
Strong judgment and editing skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and collaboratively
Ability to write concisely and plainly for readers of all experience levels
