About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and supervise all aspects of the construction process for AOR
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables supporting build strategy and key event schedule
- Manage project expectations with team members and stakeholders
- Ensure quality and safety standards are met and work is performed as scheduled within contract specifications
- Identify and expedite resolution of design, material, grouping, scheduling, manpower, and other problems
- Liaise with trades’ management to control cost performance within AOR
- Determine overtime requirements and identify/manage cost drivers
- Evaluate growth work and contract-funded point changes for authorized funding and schedule integration
- Identify impacts and potential risks and devise contingency plans
- Perform preliminary structural, tank/void, yard final, concealing material release, compartment and system turnover, and test inspections
- Document discrepancies and issue them to responsible parties for correction
- Assess safety risks within AOR and develop mitigation plans
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years Foreman experience OR Apprentice Graduate OR Military E-6 and above OR BS in Engineering or Construction/Project Management
- 4 years exempt related experience in Planning, Production Control, Engineering, Construction/Project, or Merchant Marine
- 6 years non-exempt professional experience
- U.S. citizenship required
- Final clearance required to start
- Willingness/ability to travel 10%-25% of the time
