Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery with DoD/IC and federal customers
- Define use cases, solution outlines, measurable proof-of-value plans, and PoV-to-production paths
- Design and deliver tailored demos, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops
- Build rapid prototypes and custom applications on the Kamiwaza platform
- Demonstrate RAG, agentic orchestration, streaming/event-driven ingestion, and edge-capable inference
- Instrument PoVs with evaluation and guardrails
- Convert successful PoVs into production implementations by hardening code, modularizing components, testing, and meeting engineering standards
- Design integrations with identity, data, workflow, API, messaging, streaming, file-store, and enterprise data systems
- Establish containerized deployment automation, environment parity, CI/CD, logging, and metrics
- Drive performance, reliability, observability, scaling, and operational readiness
- Support security and accreditation stakeholders with RMF/ATO-ready documentation and deployment patterns
- Deliver handoff packages including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, runbooks, IaC/configuration artifacts, and code repositories
- Lead knowledge-transfer and enablement sessions for customer and partner teams
- Define acceptance criteria and drive production sign-off or transition plans
- Coordinate with systems integrators and partners through production
- Support Sales and Capture with technical win strategies, proposals, risk assessments, and technical responses
- Translate field feedback into product requirements and partner with Engineering and Product on delivery improvements
- Build repeatable demo, PoV, production-hardening, and handoff playbooks during the first 180 days
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles supporting U.S. federal customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end engagements from discovery through production implementation and handoff
- Experience operating in sensitive mission contexts and security/information-handling constraints
- Strong software engineering skills; Python strongly preferred
- Experience with APIs/SDKs and modern web/app frameworks
- Working knowledge of LLMs, RAG/retrieval, embeddings/vector search, agentic workflows, and evaluation/guardrails
- Experience with distributed systems, APIs, event-driven/streaming systems, and data pipelines
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, logging/metrics; infrastructure as code is a plus
- Strong storytelling, whiteboarding, and workshop facilitation skills
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Ability to travel CONUS to customer sites and secure locations
- Preferred: DoD/IC deployments in classified, air-gapped, or DDIL environments; RMF/ATO and NIST 800-53 familiarity
- Preferred: production implementation, operational ownership, federal data platforms, streaming systems, identity/access systems, military service, or open-source/reference-solution experience
