Key responsibilities & impact- Help the organization prepare and adapt to disruptions ranging from cyber threats to natural disasters
- Assist with designing and implementing business resilience strategies
- Support incident response and recovery activities for business and technology disruptions
- Collaborate with the Business Resilience manager on business process resilience plans and testing
- Lead enhancement of the Business Impact Analysis methodology and facilitate BIA sessions
- Develop cyber recovery and traditional recovery strategies with business process and technology owners
- Identify process interdependencies and determine the organization’s critical path
- Plan, coordinate, and administer resilience exercises with business leaders
- Develop and update resiliency process maps
- Ensure frameworks, processes, procedures, and exercises meet or exceed FFIEC regulations
- Develop proposals, reports, presentations, procedures, measurements, and incident reporting
- Schedule, track, and report on resiliency testing, deficiencies, and follow-up action plans
- Research business resilience trends and assess applicability to Regions Bank
- Support training and address team technical knowledge or skills gaps
- Advise junior engineers as a subject-matter expert
- Ensure compliance with risk management and cybersecurity practices and support process improvements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical/business field and ten (10) years of experience in Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Incident Management/Response, Cyber Security, IT Risk Management, IT Audit, or directly related experience
- Alternatively, high school diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years of directly related experience
- Experience performing business impact analyses, cyber risk assessments, advanced recovery strategies, and developing resiliency documentation
- Experience with light automation and reporting tools such as SharePoint, JIRA, Power BI, and Tableau
- Ability to interpret and ensure compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and industry guidance
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem resolution, and decision-making skills
- Strong influencing, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong process and project management skills
- Hands-on experience with business continuity and/or operational resilience technology platforms, including ServiceNow Business Continuity Management (BCM), preferred
- Experience leading Business Continuity capabilities and teams, including BIAs, BCPs, plan maintenance, exercises/testing, and remediation, preferred
- Experience designing and facilitating tabletop exercises, preferred
- Understanding of Business Continuity and Operational Resilience frameworks and principles, preferred
- Working knowledge of Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Crisis Management, Third Party Resilience, and Cyber Incident Response
- Familiarity with NIST standards and guidance preferred
- Relevant certification strongly preferred: CBCP, CISSP, CISA, or CISM
- Must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
