Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery with DoD/IC and federal customers
- Define use cases, solution outlines, measurable proof-of-value plans, and PoV-to-production paths
- Design and deliver tailored demos, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops
- Build rapid prototypes and custom applications on the Kamiwaza platform
- Demonstrate RAG, agentic orchestration, streaming/event-driven ingestion, and edge-capable inference workflows
- Add evaluation and guardrails such as grounding checks, policy constraints, and transparency
- Convert successful PoVs into production implementations by hardening code, modularizing components, testing, and aligning with customer standards
- Design and implement integrations with identity, data, and workflow systems
- Establish deployment automation and dev/test/prod parity using containers and DevOps practices
- Drive performance, reliability, observability, scaling, and operational readiness
- Support security and accreditation stakeholders with RMF/ATO-ready documentation and deployment patterns
- Deliver architecture diagrams, deployment guides, runbooks, IaC/configuration artifacts, and code repositories
- Lead knowledge transfer and enablement workshops for customers and partners
- Define acceptance criteria and drive production sign-off or transition plans
- Coordinate systems integrators and partners through PoV-to-production delivery
- Support Sales and Capture with technical win strategies, proposals, risk assessments, and bid/no-bid decisions
- Translate field feedback into product requirements and partner with Engineering and Product to reduce delivery friction
- Build repeatable discovery, PoV, hardening, deployment, and handoff playbooks
- Enable partners or customers to independently deploy and operate Kamiwaza-based solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles supporting U.S. federal customers
- Ability to lead end-to-end engagements from discovery through technical validation, PoV/pilot, production implementation, and handoff
- Comfort operating in sensitive mission contexts and within security and information-handling constraints
- Strong software engineering skills; Python strongly preferred
- Experience with APIs/SDKs and modern web/app frameworks
- Working knowledge of GenAI systems, LLMs, RAG/retrieval, embeddings/vector search, agentic workflows, and evaluation/guardrails
- Experience with distributed systems and integration patterns, including APIs, event-driven/streaming systems, and data pipelines
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, logging, and metrics
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into mission impact and customer value
- Strong storytelling, whiteboarding, and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to drive technical decisions and handle objections in real time
- High ownership and ability to coordinate across Sales, Product, Engineering, and partners
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Ability to travel CONUS to customer sites and secure locations
- Preferred: DoD/IC classified, air-gapped, or DDIL deployment experience
- Preferred: RMF/ATO and NIST 800-53 familiarity
- Preferred: production implementation and operational ownership experience
- Preferred: federal data platform, streaming, and identity/access integration experience
- Preferred: prior military service or direct operational mission-team support
- Preferred: published demos, open-source contributions, or reference-solution experience
