Key responsibilities & impact- Lead technical discovery with DoD/IC and federal customers
- Define use cases, solution outlines, measurable PoV plans, and PoV-to-production paths
- Design and deliver tailored demos, whiteboard sessions, and hands-on workshops
- Build rapid prototypes and custom applications on the Kamiwaza platform
- Demonstrate RAG, agentic orchestration, streaming/event-driven ingestion, and edge-capable inference
- Instrument PoVs with evaluation and guardrails
- Convert successful PoVs into production implementations by hardening code, modularizing components, and adding testing
- Design and implement integrations with identity, data, and workflow systems
- Establish deployment automation and dev/test/prod environment parity using containers and DevOps practices
- Drive performance, reliability, observability, scaling, and operational readiness
- Support RMF/ATO-ready approaches and deployment readiness for classified and air-gapped environments
- Deliver handoff packages including architecture diagrams, deployment guides, runbooks, IaC/configuration artifacts, and code repositories
- Lead knowledge transfer and enablement workshops
- Define acceptance criteria and drive production sign-off or transition plans
- Coordinate with systems integrators and partners through production
- Support technical win strategies, proposals, technical responses, and delivery risk assessments
- Translate field feedback into product requirements and partner with Engineering and Product on improvements
- Build repeatable demo, PoV, hardening, and handoff playbooks during the first 180 days
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years in customer-facing technical roles supporting U.S. federal customers
- Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end engagements: discovery, technical validation, PoV/pilot, production implementation, and handoff
- Comfort operating in sensitive mission contexts and communicating within security and information-handling constraints
- Strong software engineering skills; Python strongly preferred
- Experience with APIs/SDKs and modern web/app frameworks
- Working knowledge of GenAI systems, LLMs, RAG/retrieval, embeddings/vector search, agentic workflows, and evaluation/guardrails
- Experience with distributed systems concepts and integration patterns, including APIs, event-driven/streaming, and data pipelines
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, logging/metrics
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into mission impact and customer value
- Strong storytelling, whiteboarding, and workshop facilitation skills
- High ownership and ability to work with minimal supervision across Sales, Product, Engineering, and partners
- U.S. citizenship required
- Active TS/SCI clearance required
- Ability to travel CONUS to customer sites and secure locations
- Preferred: DoD/IC classified, air-gapped, or DDIL deployment experience; RMF/ATO and NIST 800-53 familiarity
- Preferred: production implementation experience with runbooks, monitoring, incident response, and sustainment handoffs
- Preferred: federal data platform, streaming system, and identity/access integration experience
- Preferred: prior military service or operational mission team experience
- Preferred: published demos, open-source contributions, or reference solution experience
