About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide pre-contract commercial support
- Develop procurement and commercial strategies with demanders
- Prepare contract documentation
- Lead the tendering process
- Manage and progress additional tenders in line with the procurement pipeline
- Perform ongoing contract management for live contracts
- Maintain records accurately and timely in CEMAR, ATAMIS, and the Procurement Plan
- Support the remediation commercial team with actual cost audits on the new framework
- Ensure defined costs reflect the Schedule of Cost Components
- Complete final accounting for multiple contracts
- Support the wider commercial team with actual cost audits
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid experience in NEC contract management
- Proven ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Comfortable working in a busy environment with shifting and competing priorities
- Ability to work independently, manage own workload, and make sound commercial decisions
- Must have the right to live and work in the United Kingdom
- Must be located within daily commutable distance of the office
- Regular office-based work required
