Key responsibilities & impact- Lead IT projects for clients from requirements gathering through go-live
- Manage scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, while providing transparent updates on progress and required actions
- Gather, refine, and prioritize requirements in collaboration with business departments and IT
- Provide functional leadership to interdisciplinary teams comprising consultants, developers, and client employees
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, including at management level
- Prepare status reports and participate in steering committees
- Manage escalations, risks, and conflicting objectives, and facilitate decision-making
- Help shape project management standards, templates, and methodologies at MESKRU
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least five years of experience independently managing IT projects, with budget and overall delivery responsibility
- Experience managing multiple projects from kickoff through go-live, involving stakeholders from more than one organization
- Proficiency in traditional, agile, and hybrid project management methodologies
- Solid understanding of IT system landscapes, interfaces, and migration initiatives
- Confidence when engaging with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including during critical project phases
- Structured, self-directed approach to work, including the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
- Highly desirable: Experience supporting or leading an Atlassian implementation or migration
- Experience with cloud migrations, tool consolidation, or platform implementations
- Knowledge of ITIL
- Project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, or Professional Scrum Master
- Presales experience, including effort estimation and proposal preparation
