About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain Newton's design system as structured markdown files covering brand principles, color, typography, layout, imagery, components, and usage rules for AI design tools such as Claude Design.
- Create templates and guidelines enabling marketers, sellers, and other non-designers to produce on-brand decks, one-pagers, and visuals.
- Test the design system across tools and use cases, identify brand drift, and refine source files.
- Document workflows and coach the team on achieving high-quality results from AI design tools.
- Design sales enablement materials such as pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, battle cards, and proposal templates.
- Create trade show and event branding, including booth graphics, signage, banners, and printed collateral.
- Design branded merchandise and swag.
- Design email templates and landing pages with the marketing team.
- Use AI tools for concepting, moodboards, and image generation.
- Partner with marketing, growth, and go-to-market teams to translate briefs into polished, on-brand visuals.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver on deadline.
- Give and receive feedback constructively and iterate quickly based on stakeholder input.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of design experience, with a portfolio that shows range across brand, marketing, and sales materials.
- Hands-on experience using AI in design work, including image generation (Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or similar), AI-assisted ideation, and AI design tools such as Claude Design; applicants should share examples.
- Experience building or maintaining design systems or brand guidelines, with comfort writing them in markdown or another structured, text-based format.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience preparing files for print production, including event graphics, signage, and merchandise.
- Comfort working independently in a remote-first environment with minimal hand-holding.
- Strong communication skills, ability to articulate design decisions, incorporate feedback, and teach others to use built systems.
- B2B SaaS, adtech, or marketing technology experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
