Key responsibilities & impact- Provide comprehensive technical support for Market Data and Critical Broker applications across US business units
- Act as primary technical point of contact for trading desks regarding system functionality and data availability
- Resolve technical issues in real time on the trading floor
- Maintain the day-to-day operational health of market data infrastructure
- Oversee connectivity management for Broker applications and products
- Administer trading user accounts and access across broker platforms
- Create broker user accounts while adhering to internal processes
- Troubleshoot network protocols and connectivity issues
- Liaise between business units and vendors
- Maintain strategic relationships with business teams and vendor management
- Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations
- Coordinate software releases, system deployments, and connectivity modifications
- Test and implement market data infrastructure software, including DACS upgrades
- Perform RTDS (TREP) system upgrades and maintenance
- Support front-office desktop applications
- Participate in on-call, out-of-hours support and onsite support coverage
Requirements
What you’ll need- LSEG/Refinitiv RTDS (TREP), including DACS and tools
- Linux CLI and shell scripting
- Network protocols and connectivity troubleshooting
- Knowledge of financial instruments and data structures provided by Bloomberg or LSEG/Refinitiv (Reuters)
- Experience working directly with traders on the trading floor
- Vendor management and third-party integration experience
- Experience in Incident Management / Change Management is advantageous
- Experience using Bloomberg Professional and/or LSEG/Refinitiv Workspace is advantageous
- MS SQL Server and Oracle database knowledge is advantageous
- Knowledge of market data vendor APIs: RFA, SFC, BPIPE is advantageous
- Web technologies: HTML, PHP, JavaScript is advantageous
- Front office desktop application support experience is advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and manage internal user expectations
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment
- Flexibility to support trading operations and participate in on-call rotation
