Key responsibilities & impact- Plan conduit locations using SAPEX stocking tools
- Schedule production work centers to achieve stocking goals and maintain a COTD above 95%
- Identify capacity constraints and collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve issues
- Attend daily conduit production meetings and weekly agent status meetings
- Set daily and monthly production targets for each work center
- Publish a daily scorecard for the conduit product line
- Coordinate with subcontractors involved in the conduit product line and manage receiving tasks for these vendors
- Review conduit customer orders, determining shipping points and delivery dates
- Monitor inventory levels at all conduit stock locations
- Provide a shipping schedule for St. Augustine and Magnolia
- Learn Master Data functions in SAPEX, including creating new parts and processing Engineering Change Requests
- Maintain positive professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Reconcile agent warehouse inventories as needed
- Assist with annual physical inventories at the plant or other locations as directed
- Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Manufacturing experience is required
- Materials experience is preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant course is desirable
- Significant experience with MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP, is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
- Solid grasp of supply chain concepts
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting safety rules, policies, and procedure manuals
- Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence effectively
- Ability to work independently
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to effectively present information to groups of customers or employees
