About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Treat patients via telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups
- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other continuous-learning activities
- Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles
- Use clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care
- Deliver evidence-based virtual medical care in concert with primary care providers
- Care for patients across a 24-hour, 365-day virtual care operation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of Master’s Degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS)
- Maintaining an active NCCPA certification
- In the past 5 years, at least 2 years as a Physician Assistant in outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages, OR at least 2 years in urgent care or emergency medicine seeing patients of all ages
- Currently licensed in AZ, CO, CA, or WA, with ability to obtain additional state licenses
- For AZ: more than 8000 hours and eligibility for PA collaborative status
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday
- Ability to work current shifts ranging from 12p–11p PST, 7a–6p PST, and 6a–5p PST
- Excellent clinical and communication skills
- Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care
- Ability to effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care
