Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and other business intelligence components based on defined requirements and specifications
- Assist with BI solution designs and documentation through research, testing, and data preparation under the guidance of senior developers or architects
- Monitor communication channels for production-related issues
- Triage incoming requests, assist in resolving issues, and escalate to appropriate teams when necessary
- Learn and apply BI development best practices through collaboration and guidance from senior staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience
- High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED required
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Knowledge of common data platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, AWS Redshift, MySQL, or similar
- Knowledge of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Cognos, SAS, or similar
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling techniques, including relational and dimensional modeling
- Ability to quickly learn new tools, processes, and applications and apply new knowledge to practical tasks and projects
- Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Educational or internship experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or reporting projects preferred
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA is a plus
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, MotioCI, or similar is a plus
- Coursework related to healthcare, PBM, or a similar industry is a plus
- Must comply with security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policy requirements
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job; reasonable accommodations may be made when requested
