About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Turn data into actionable information and insights to drive business and operational decisions
- Work closely with operational and business leadership to understand analytics and business needs
- Serve as a trusted analytics delivery partner to answer business questions using available data assets
- Enable successful adoption of analytics tools
- Design, build, test, and implement BI solutions
- Create and modify BI services, applications, programs, semantic layers, metadata, reports, dashboards, and portal interfaces
- Develop stored procedures, reporting designs, report models, databases, administration processes, and BI solution automation
- Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software
- Performance-tune BI applications as necessary
- Potentially provide periodic on-call support for BI applications and services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
- 5 years of related work experience
- Advanced knowledge of healthcare operations and key performance indicators
- Ability to design, code, test, implement, and document BI services, applications, programs, semantic layers, metadata, reports, dashboards, and portal interfaces
- Experience developing stored procedures, reporting designs, report models, database development, administration, and BI solution automation
- Ability to troubleshoot and performance-tune BI tools, systems, and software
- Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting/standing and keyboard use
