Key responsibilities & impact- IT systems administration for Windows and Linux
- Management of network, security, and access concepts
- Network support and ensuring ongoing IT operations based on Cisco technology
- Analyzing and resolving incidents in cooperation with internal and external partners and manufacturers
- Maintaining and further developing the IT infrastructure
- Managing and further developing virtualization and server infrastructure, including storage and backup, using VMware, Proxmox, and Veeam
- Planning and implementing IT projects, such as system migrations and modernization initiatives

- Close and collaborative cooperation with the existing IT functional team lead
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training or degree in IT or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional and leadership experience
- Very good knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server and Linux), Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Teams
- Knowledge of virtualization using VMware and Proxmox
- Knowledge of backup and monitoring systems
- Extensive knowledge of Cisco, Veeam, Citrix, WireGuard, and Sophos
- Ability and willingness to work independently, systematically, and constructively
- Strong teamworking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent German-language skills
- Experience with traditional and agile project management methodologies
