About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Record and review accounting documents: purchases, sales, journal entries and treasury transactions
- Plan invoice payments efficiently
- Update customer files, monitor collections and manage receivables recovery
- Prepare and submit tax returns: VAT, CET, CSS, corporate income tax, etc.
- Contribute to the preparation of interim financial statements
- Review and analyze accounts
- Prepare adjusting and closing entries and analyze closing cycles
- Complete year-end closings, tax packages, notes to the financial statements and annual financial statement packages
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the accounts of the Group’s various entities
- Report to the Head of Accounting France within the Finance Department
Requirements
What you’ll need- Two-year post-secondary accounting qualification, such as a BTS or DUT in Accounting
- At least 4 years of experience in an accounting firm or in a fast-growing, multi-company environment
- Technical expertise enabling you to independently manage the accounting of one or more companies through to the preparation of the financial statements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience managing accounting for multiple companies
- Highly organized approach and ability to work in a fast-growing environment
- Knowledge of IFS would be an advantage
- Professional proficiency in English would be appreciated
