Key responsibilities & impact- Support defense global product cost managers with improving communication and integrating sources of part cost change
- Investigate AI capability and lead potential adoption projects
- Improve data transparency and availability
- Maintain product cost data fidelity to support decision-making across programs
- Own monthly cost reporting, including incorporation of customer/program feedback
- Maintain engine Bills of Material (BoM) in the executive cost reporting system
- Support projects improving the fidelity of engine set value cost forecasts
- Work within the global product cost team in the Business Support organization to develop and execute a product cost roadmap across global program teams, supply chain, and finance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or Operations and 3+ years of experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations and 1+ years of experience, OR Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or Operations, OR JD/PhD, OR 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Experience working in global projects or teams preferred
- Database management tool and advanced Excel skills
- Experience with SAP and associated financial models, Power BI, and Python development
- Experience working with product cost, including finance experience with product cost buildup or supply chain roles such as supplier negotiations and source changes
- Experience with cost-related regulatory requirements, such as FAR 15 and/or SSRO, preferred
