About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and translate business data requirements
- Perform impact analysis and support stakeholder engagement
- Ensure proper data ingestion, curation, and consumption
- Clarify solution designs supporting business strategies and analytical initiatives
- Document, prototype, and validate current and future-state data flow processes
- Identify relevant business processes affecting data curation and explain their impact
- Lead complex analysis in an evolving data environment
- Gather, analyze, document, and maintain data requirements for applications, interfaces, and reporting environments
- Apply data standards and best practices to ensure data accuracy, completeness, currency, understandability, and accessibility
- Define and manage data dictionaries/catalogs with data owners
- Advise data modelers, data warehouse/data integration developers, and data management teams
- Maintain and enhance Enterprise Data Governance policies
- Provide thought leadership on emerging data information management solutions and frameworks
- Lead cross-functional and enterprise initiatives, identify risks, and guide complex situations
- Collaborate with technology and business teams to deliver data solutions
- Facilitate data analysis and investigations for business users and QA teams
- Oversee post-implementation business impact and validate intended outcomes
- Coordinate business requirements with technical teams and support source code management and release management

Requirements
What you’ll need- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate, and/or 5+ years of relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
- Highly seasoned professional with substantial knowledge/expertise in a complex field and broader related areas
- Master-level conceptual expertise in business information management
- Expert analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in multiple programming languages
- Experience with big data solutions and familiarity with big data technologies
- Familiarity with visualization tools
- 7+ years leading, analyzing, documenting, and managing stakeholder requirements using elicitation and consensus-building techniques
- 7+ years of business analysis and delivery execution practices and standards
- 5+ years of commercial lending processes and data
- Knowledge of regulatory and framework controls, standards, and best practices
- Knowledge of commercial lending and finance
- Ability to perform sedentary work, multiple tasks, operate standard office equipment, concentrate for long periods, read/write/comprehend instructions, and perform basic arithmetic
- Occasional domestic travel; no international travel
