Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and own AI agents and LLM-powered software products end-to-end
- Lead technical design of agentic systems and workflows using LLMs and ML models
- Integrate agents with Tealium data and configuration systems and internal/external parties through APIs and MCP
- Add prompt-injection defenses, PII controls, output validation, and human-in-the-loop gates for security and compliance
- Partner with Product Managers and Engineers to identify customer value opportunities using AI
- Drive AI expertise, participate in peer reviews, and set standards for building LLM systems
- Set and supervise technical direction
- Review other engineers' designs and improve team use of AI development tools
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of software development experience with Python and Java
- Proven experience shipping LLM-powered features to production at scale
- Knowledge of modern software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices
- Hands-on experience with RAG workflows, including chunking, embeddings, and retrieval from relational and vector databases
- Experience deploying software on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts
- Desire to learn new technologies, products, and business areas
- Domain expertise in martech, marketing analytics, or customer data platforms
- Understanding of traditional statistical ML models and libraries
- Experience building Data/Analytics/ML pipelines on Spark, Databricks, or similar
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
