About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify customers' termite problems and determine remedial steps based on termite behaviors and habits
- Perform termite treatment services safely according to company guidelines and standard practices
- Apply anti-termite treatments according to schedules, safety procedures, and label instructions
- Communicate termite-conducive conditions, procedures, and structural modifications to customers
- Verify job specifications for each work order
- Operate and maintain service vehicles and equipment
- Complete production forms documenting services provided
- Interact with customers and explain services provided
- Prepare job sites for treatment
- Enter and exit structures and crawl spaces and navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and roofs
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Termite control experience is a plus
- Clean-shaven face for respirator safety
- Ability to tolerate seasonal weather and damp or dusty locations
- Ability to enter and exit structures and crawl spaces, climb structures, ladders, roofs, and high areas
- Comfortable working 20 feet up on a ladder and in confined spaces
- Ability to wear required PPE, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
- Basic math skills, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to follow product-label mixing instructions
- Flexibility to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays as needed
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- General laborer, carpentry, cement, roofing, gutter, or attic experience is a plus
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations, covered by the employer
