About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Plan, schedule, and coordinate weekly articles, videos, announcements, and emails with Service Missionaries
- Send or upload the weekly leadership/Managing Director video
- Storyboard, film, and edit engaging videos
- Monitor Microsoft Teams and Outlook messages
- Monitor engagement metrics and feedback to refine communication strategies
- Collaborate on SharePoint management and maintain brand consistency
- Attend and photograph team, division, and department events
- Write summaries and create engaging articles
- Design signage, flyers, invitations, and save-the-dates
- Review monthly flyer designs and spiritual topics
- Create marketing assets for campaigns and regular communications
- Contribute to and send the Weekly Roundup Newsletter
- Edit self-authored articles and articles submitted by employees and missionaries
- Hold weekly one-to-one meetings with Service Missionaries
- Assign and oversee projects delegated to Service Missionaries
- Meet challenging deadlines, take direction, exercise judgment, and work with independence, tact, diplomacy, and attention to detail
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1 year of professional experience in videography and video editing with an emphasis on storytelling
- 1 year of professional experience in communication, editing, writing, or related fields
- Can work 40 hours per week
- Able and willing to come into the office 2 or more days per week based on need
- Experience with Premiere Pro
- Experience with Canva
- Experience with Photoshop
- Experience with InDesign
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Photography/camera operation experience
- Great attention to detail
- Technical skills in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and basic Microsoft SharePoint
- Paid interns must be enrolled in an educational institution or within one year following graduation
- Must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter
- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy
