Key responsibilities & impact- Build AI-powered backend services using Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL
- Support real-time AI interactions and large-scale data flows

Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production backend systems, APIs, and microservices used by real customers
- Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS or Azure cloud services
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, architecture, and data modelling
- Excellent debugging skills
- Proven ability to deliver production-ready, highly reliable systems
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, iterative environments
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- BA or BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience (preferred)
- Experience with backend performance optimization, monitoring, profiling, and tuning for scale
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered product features, ideally agentic AI workflows
- Experience with tool/API orchestrations, LLM APIs, RAG pipelines, Claude Agent SDK / AgentCore at runtime
- Experience with Agentic UI, SSE/AG-UI streaming semantics, and TypeScript/React
- Experience with Datadog, CloudWatch Log Insights, and Braintrust
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure, vector databases, model serving, and LLM cost/latency optimization
- Strong focus on testing, automation, and operational robustness
- Prior experience with legal, compliance, or other regulated professional domains
