About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide manual labor supporting Cultivation department operations
- Primarily support the flower department with day-to-day plant maintenance and sanitation
- Support veg, mom, and propagation departments as business needs require
- Follow laws, rules, policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
- Net and trellis flower plants
- Load plants and place emitters
- Tuck and spread plants as directed
- Prune and defoliate plants
- Use PPE according to company guidelines
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material
- Clean, sanitize, and store grow room tools and equipment
- Perform manual cross-department duties as needed
- Complete other assigned duties
Requirements

- Cultivation experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
- Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate
- Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater)
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet
- Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry 50 lbs a minimum distance of 50 feet
- Must be able to stand, sit, climb ladders, use elevated platforms, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
- Requires repetitive hand, wrist, finger, and elbow movement
- Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for reading, computer terminal viewing, and visual inspection
- Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers and vendors
