Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and participate in medium- to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
- At least 4 years of experience building highly distributed, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems and Java applications
- Strong hands-on programming experience using Java or another object-oriented language
- Expertise developing and overseeing large-scale distributed applications using big data technologies such as Spark, Cassandra, Kafka, and Redis
- Strong grasp of distributed systems architecture and design principles
- Advanced knowledge of software design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with agile development methodology
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Exposure to information retrieval, statistics, and machine learning concepts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position
- Preferred: monitoring and analyzing application performance, stability, and success rates
- Preferred: technical debugging and production support capabilities
- Preferred master's degree and 2 years' experience
- Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
