Key responsibilities & impact- Test current products, identify deficiencies, and mitigate risks
- Suggest solutions to identified product problems
- Investigate product quality to improve customer satisfaction
- Become a subject matter expert on the assigned project

- Collaborate with the Product Development team for consistent project execution
- Develop automated tests, scripts, and tools to enable CI/CD
- Identify QA process bottlenecks and suggest improvements
- Define and manage test cases and test runs, and validate them
- Meet with team members to agree on goals, review them quarterly, and provide constructive feedback
- Identify use cases, create test plans, define test strategies, and create manual and automated test cases
- Report to stakeholders on product quality and reliability
- Work with the Scrum team, owning testing processes and helping define application behavior
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
- Experience with exploratory testing, automated testing, test-driven development strategies, and other testing techniques
- Experience with software QA tools and processes
- Understanding of Scrum/Agile frameworks
- BDD experience is nice to have
- Passion for IoT and technical challenges
- Desired experience with web security technology
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages is nice to have
- Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities
- Good level of spoken and written English required
- Flexibility in response to changing circumstances
- Good team player with excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong commercial focus
- Can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
