Key responsibilities & impact- Lead virtual Connection Calls and telehealth intake assessments with adolescents ages 13–17 and their families
- Screen for mental health and safety needs
- Determine whether Partial Hospitalization (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient (IOP) care is appropriate
- Complete CALOCUS level-of-care screenings, crisis assessments, and suicide risk assessments
- Recognize when crisis intervention, escalation, or a higher level of care is needed
- Document clinical findings
- Coordinate admissions with Admissions and treatment teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Florida license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Florida Registered Intern status (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI)
- Fluent English and Spanish
- Experience as a counselor, therapist, or clinician working with adolescents in PHP, IOP, or other behavioral health settings
- Skills in crisis assessment, risk assessment, and de-escalation
- Private home office with reliable internet for HIPAA-compliant telehealth sessions
- Evening availability Monday–Friday, 5–8 PM Eastern
- Ability to conduct telehealth intake assessments with adolescents ages 13–17 and their families
