About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a key technical advisor and product advocate during the technology evaluation stage of the sales process
- Work closely with Flow & Heat Transfer Products within Business Unit WIFH
- Identify and provide reliable solutions for technical issues throughout the sales process
- Work with External and Inside Sales teams to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations
- Lead the technical aspects of customer requests through physical or virtual visits, meetings, customer interactions, and product presentations
- Offer customized value propositions to customers
- Lead and support the quotation process for customer projects
- Conduct virtual meetings, seminars, and webinars to increase awareness of Alfa Laval products and services
- Serve as product champion in product launch campaigns and product campaigns
- Define and deliver local training programs for Alfa Laval employees, channels, and customers
- Use the One CRM tool and other tools consistently and effectively to support the sales process and decision-making
- Ensure business principles and governance are adhered to within the area of responsibility
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering graduate / Diploma holder
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in any similar Food, Pharma and Water Industries
- Robust experience handling quotations and customer communication
- Competent in heat transfer and fluid handling processes and products
- Knowledge of commercial terms / Incoterms
- Strong active listening skills
- Strong customer service orientation and sense of urgency
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to express ideas clearly in written and verbal formats
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and email systems, specifically strong Excel skills
- Teamwork and team-player mindset
- Active social media profile and use of digital channels to increase network and secure presence
