About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Utilize CAMEO and DOORS to develop, manage, and maintain system requirements, ensuring traceability throughout the product development lifecycle
- Lead requirements definition, analysis, and decomposition activities
- Translate customer and system-level requirements into detailed subsystem requirements
- Develop and maintain Validation and Verification (V&V) matrices
- Plan and coordinate verification and test activities, including test strategy development, test procedures, and requirements-based testing
- Establish and maintain end-to-end requirements traceability
- Balance design, analysis, and testing to achieve robust system performance
- Support preparation of engineering reports and presentations
- Support creation of interface control drawings and interface description documents
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in STEM, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or an equivalent field
- Typically 2–5 years of aerospace and/or defense experience
- Experience supporting development of mechanical systems and structures, electronics, electrical cabling, system integration, and qualification testing
- General aerospace engineering knowledge including structural analysis, finite element analysis (FEA), physics-based modeling, dynamics, kinematics, advanced high-strength materials, design, and testing
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to multidisciplinary project planning and execution
- Must be US Persons (citizens or permanent residents)
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening
