About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Select key electronics technologies and system components for ruggedized military-market products
- Lead systems engineering, benchmark testing, and requirements validation
- Maintain the Product Offering Technical Solution documenting the as-built system configuration
- Lead mechanical and electrical engineers to complete projects
- Provide technical assistance and process input to Project Managers
- Lead Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and manage associated artifacts
- Support Manufacturing, Engineering, and Executive Management during normal operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person”)
- Bachelors of Science degree in an Engineering field
- 10+ years of engineering related experience
- Extensive knowledge in current and future technology trends for high-performance computing, networking, display, and system integration options
- Understanding of developing a computer server and integrating related technologies
- Ability to travel to customer sites and work a flexible schedule
- Demonstrated ability to operate lab equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines
- Ability to train and mentor others
- Ability to lead large multi-disciplinary teams on vaguely-defined projects with little supervision
- Ability to identify inter-departmental process deficiencies, propose solutions, and implement corrective actions
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods during product testing
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
