Key responsibilities & impact- Identify customers’ business and technical security requirements
- Design and implement world-class security solutions across multiple security domains and technologies
- Manage Professional Services engagements from discovery through project closure
- Work with ANM Technical Leads, Project Management Office, and leading technology platforms
- Create and implement security configurations following documented project plans
- Produce customer documentation, including as-built documentation, diagrams, and support information
- Design, configure, and implement Palo Alto Firewall, Prisma SASE, and Prisma Cloud solutions
- Design, configure, and implement Cisco Firewall FTD
- Design, configure, and implement advanced Cisco Identity Services Engine environments
- Analyze and diagnose complex network and information security system problems
- Apply technical knowledge and analytical skills to solve moderately to highly complex problems
- Build enterprise security solutions using relevant technologies, products, and services
- Research security developments and evolving threats and provide expert-level security advice
- Use lab environments to recreate, investigate, and solve problems
- Occasionally travel to customer or other locations as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and/or 8+ years of experience in a related field
- 5+ years of experience working in security architecture, operations, design, or development across multiple domains in Information Security
- Strong Cisco background with the ability to design, support, configure, and implement Cisco Security products
- Strong Palo Alto experience in PAN Security products
- CCNP-Security, Security+, CEH, and/or other relevant security certifications
- Hands-on experience with Firewalls, IDS, IPS, VPN, Remote Access, Security Logging, Rapid Threat Containment Solutions, and Network Security Orchestration tools
- Ability to implement controls for SSAE16 / SOC II, PCI, HIPAA, and similar compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including communicating technical issues to technical and nontechnical audiences
- CCNP Security required
- CCIE Security and/or CISSP desired
- Advanced experience with Cisco Firewall and Palo Alto Firewall required
- Minimum of 7 years of information security-related work experience, including cybersecurity consulting experience
- Strong communication/presentation skills and professional appearance/demeanor
- Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance
