Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain scalable integration capabilities using event-driven architectures, publish/subscribe interfaces, webhooks, APIs, and MCP endpoints
- Define and maintain vendor-facing technical specifications, integration requirements, and acceptance criteria
- Translate integration standards into measurable, testable contractual commitments with procurement, legal, and architecture teams
- Build and operate pipelines capturing AI agent decision traces, lineage, activity data, and telemetry
- Implement identity management, entitlements, permissible-use controls, and secure integration boundaries
- Develop shared platform services, including gateways, runtime capabilities, and reusable infrastructure
- Establish observability, monitoring, testing, and rollback capabilities for production AI agent integrations
- Coordinate with external engineering teams on integration development, validation, troubleshooting, and acceptance testing
- Collaborate with platform and MLOps engineers in India and cross-functional teams
- Participate in special projects supporting the firm's AI platform strategy and business priorities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in platform engineering, systems integration, or related software engineering disciplines
- Experience designing, building, and operating event-driven integration architectures, including publish/subscribe messaging, webhooks, API platforms, and distributed systems
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python and/or TypeScript
- Experience developing vendor-facing technical specifications, integration standards, and acceptance criteria
- Understanding of API design, versioning, contract testing, integration patterns, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Experience with identity management, authentication, authorization, entitlements, and permissible-use controls
- Experience building telemetry, event processing, and data ingestion pipelines with Databricks or comparable lakehouse technologies
- Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, distributed tracing, incident management, and rollback strategies
- Experience designing for vendor portability, system interoperability, data ownership, and technology replacement
- Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to collaborate with architects, engineering leaders, procurement teams, and external vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with globally distributed engineering teams
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality solutions
- Proficiency with AI-assisted and agentic development tools
- No professional certifications or licenses required
