About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist members with direct consumer loan applications from initial inquiry through loan closing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for members throughout the lending process
- Receive and process loan applications
- Gather required documentation
- Prepare loan files for underwriting review
- Coordinate loan closings
- Assist with booking indirect consumer loans when needed
- Deliver exceptional member service
- Identify opportunities to recommend additional credit union products and services
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of loan processing functions and related requirements and procedures
- Well organized and strong typing abilities
- One to two years of varied office experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good verbal public relations skills
- Comprehensive background check required
- Drug screening required
