Key responsibilities & impact- Own the product, AI tools, workflows and systems that help Cloaked engineering teams build and ship faster
- Own third-party tools and internally built tools from setup through upkeep
- Expand AI use across software development, including code writing, review, testing and fixing
- Define where human oversight remains necessary and build engineer trust in AI results
- Identify patterns in how teams are slowed down and ship solutions that teams adopt
- Build small fixes directly and delegate larger work to engineers
- Define success metrics for internal tools, including adoption and time saved
- Run the delivery organization as a product, covering planning, movement from idea to release and measurement
- Connect product engineers with platform and data teams to prioritize work appropriately
- Manage intake for the data team and prioritize requests
- Help teams obtain answers from data faster by turning common questions into tools and automated reports
- Partner closely with engineering leadership and small engineering teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years as a technical PM or TPM, or as an engineer who moved into product
- Experience building products for builders, such as developer tools, platforms, internal tools or AI agents
- Comfortable reading and writing code, including SQL
- Experience working in GitHub
- Ability to participate in system design discussions
- Experience building with AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex or Cursor, with something built to demonstrate
- Practical experience testing opinions about AI's impact on software development
- Evidence of initiative through side projects, self-built tools or founding a company
- Ability to turn numerous requests into a clear plan and execute it
- Experience working at a fast-growing company
- Ability to work with few resources and light process
- Ability to identify situations requiring care, such as security and access
- Developer platform, CI/CD or SRE experience is nice to have
- Experience running AI agents in production and measuring their performance is nice to have
- Experience improving planning and shipping in a fast-growing engineering organization is nice to have
- Experience working closely with a data team or running an analytics request process is nice to have
- Experience with security or access control for internal systems is nice to have
