About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead, coach, and develop audit team members
- Assign work, set priorities, and track project progress
- Manage employee performance and career development
- Assess staffing needs and team capabilities
- Recruit, retain, and develop talent while supporting succession planning
- Identify emerging risks and opportunities to improve processes and controls
- Ensure audits are completed on time and aligned with the audit plan
- Advise business partners on risk management and control effectiveness
- Communicate audit progress, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders
- Support organizational changes by evaluating impacts to risks and controls
- Participate in special projects and strategic initiatives while maintaining audit independence
- Oversee audit planning, testing, documentation, reporting, and follow-up activities
- Review audit workpapers, testing results, and identified control issues
- Ensure audit findings and conclusions are accurate, well-supported, and clearly communicated
- Perform audit procedures in accordance with company and professional standards
- Partner with business teams and external auditors as needed
- Document business processes, testing results, and audit observations
- Present audit results, risks, and recommendations to leadership
- Build strong relationships with business and audit partners
- Help drive corrective actions and issue resolution
- Prepare clear and concise written reports and presentations
- Complete administrative responsibilities and support department initiatives
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion

Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience in auditing, accounting, risk management, or a related field
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business writing skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- CPA, CIA, CISA, or other relevant professional certification preferred, or progress toward certification
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams preferred
- Strong knowledge of business processes, risk management, and internal controls preferred
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills preferred
- Strong presentation and meeting facilitation abilities preferred
