About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the development of seasonal and customer-driven Nicole Miller sleepwear collections
- Research seasonal trends, colors, prints, fabrics, silhouettes, and details
- Work with senior team members on print, artwork, color, fabrication, and trim selection
- Assist with flat sketching and maintain fabric, trim, print, and color libraries
- Develop production-ready print and graphic artwork
- Create technical development packages with construction details, sketches, fabrications, trims, prints, and color specifications
- Prepare and send tech packs, sample requests, production artwork, and color standards
- Communicate with overseas factories regarding product development, artwork, samples, and production needs
- Track sample development, fabric and trim sourcing, artwork, and related deliverables
- Review samples and assist with comments and revisions
- Assist with seasonal presentations, line reviews, and customer meetings
- Partner with Design, Product Development, Technical Design, and other cross-functional teams to keep projects organized and on schedule
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred
- Previous internship or other relevant industry experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop is required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Positive, collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Passion for fashion and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Portfolio link or examples of work required with application
