About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Float to all emergency rooms and free-standing emergency rooms in the Richmond Market
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Provide advanced treatment and care to patients with complex diagnoses
- Evaluate, update, and revise plans of care to facilitate planned outcomes
- Administer medications safely according to state practice and Bon Secours policies and procedures
- Self-schedule availability
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association required
- Two or more years clinical RN experience required in ER
- Every third weekend required
- One summer and one winter holiday required
- Full-time night shift availability
