Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end delivery of a large data warehouse migration to the cloud for an insurance client
- Lead mobilisation, discovery and assessment, migration waves, parallel run, cut-over, decommissioning and hypercare
- Structure the programme into platform build, data migration, ETL/ELT re-engineering, reporting and BI migration, data quality and reconciliation, governance, change and adoption workstreams
- Own the budget and business case, including estimates, estimate at completion, vendor and licence costs, cloud consumption and trade-offs
- Run programme governance through steering committees, status and risk reporting, RAID logs, change control and decision logs
- Protect reporting continuity around financial close, Solvency II, IFRS 17 cycles and regulator deadlines
- Define reconciliation and sign-off criteria with Finance, Actuarial and Risk before source systems are decommissioned
- Manage vendors and system integrators, including contracts, SOWs, deliverable acceptance, performance and escalation
- Coordinate client data, IT, security and compliance teams
- Work with architecture and data engineering leads on the target platform, migration tooling and environment strategy
- Incorporate GDPR, DORA, outsourcing, cloud notification, data residency and audit requirements into the programme
- Lead change and adoption, including training and legacy warehouse decommissioning
- Contribute delivery methods, estimation assets, proposals and pre-sales to Exerizon's growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years in IT delivery, including 5+ years as a programme manager accountable for multi-workstream programmes with multi-million budgets and teams of 30+ across client, vendor and consulting staff
- At least one large data warehouse or data platform migration delivered end to end, including parallel run, reconciliation and decommissioning
- Insurance experience covering policy administration, claims, reinsurance, finance and actuarial reporting, and financial close, Solvency II and IFRS 17 cycles
- Technical fluency in lakehouse vs. warehouse, ELT pipelines, data modelling and reconciliation approaches
- Strong programme management toolkit including integrated planning, estimation and EAC tracking, RAID management, change control, benefits tracking and dependency management
- Vendor and contract management experience with SOWs, acceptance, performance management and escalation
- Working knowledge of GDPR, DORA, outsourcing and cloud notification requirements of the insurance regulator in Polish financial services
- Executive-level communication skills and comfort chairing steering committees with CFO and CRO stakeholders
- Full professional fluency in Polish and English
- PMP, PRINCE2, MSP or SAFe certification (nice to have)
- Hands-on background in data engineering or BI (nice to have)
- Experience with migration tooling and automated conversion (nice to have)
- FinOps for cloud data platforms (nice to have)
- Experience on the client side of an insurer or a bank (nice to have)
