Key responsibilities & impact- Contribute to scalable, multi-agent AI architectures for data discovery and query generation
- Design components across agent orchestration, tool systems, and LLM integration

- Build evaluation and benchmarking tools for continuous AI quality measurement
- Own features from design through deployment and monitoring
- Implement vector embedding pipelines and semantic retrieval across datasets, tables, and columns
- Optimize search relevance through embeddings, re-ranking, and evaluation metrics
- Contribute to data quality and governance capabilities
- Write maintainable, scalable code using SOLID, DRY, and design patterns
- Participate in code reviews, root cause analysis, sprint planning, estimation, onboarding, and technical guidance
- Partner with Product, Data Engineering, and Platform teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6+ years of professional software engineering with strong hands-on coding ability
- Experience building AI-powered applications or working with LLM-based systems in production
- Ability to take ambiguous requirements and deliver working, tested software independently
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across the full stack
- Track record of owning and delivering complex features end-to-end
- Python, Java, TypeScript, Angular or React
- Google ADK, LangChain/LangGraph, OpenAI/Gemini APIs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines
- GCP, including BigQuery, Vertex AI, and Cloud Run
- FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLModel/SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, pgvector
- Terraform, GitHub Actions, Docker
- Custom evaluation frameworks and LLM-as-judge patterns
- Git and Alembic
- Nice to have: Google Agent Development Kit or similar agent frameworks, NL-to-SQL or text-to-code generation, ML fundamentals, vector databases, semantic retrieval optimization, data governance, developer tooling or platform SDKs
