About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze functional and technical requirements to identify quality criteria and associated risks.
- Define test strategies, plans, and scenarios based on project requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and, where applicable, performance testing.
- Automate tests and contribute to improving testing tools and practices.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze defects and validate fixes.
- Contribute to integrating quality checks into CI/CD processes.
- Monitor quality metrics and propose continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in reviews of specifications, designs, and deliverables.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or application validation.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools, such as Jira or equivalent platforms.
- Knowledge of automated testing and at least one related programming language or framework.
- Understanding of software development processes and Agile practices.
- Knowledge of APIs, related testing tools, and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
