Key responsibilities & impact- Drive customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the installation process
- Act as the primary liaison between GE HealthCare and the customer
- Execute managed project implementations, including identifying GE and customer responsibilities and deliverables defined in sales contracts
- Track and communicate implementation progress
- Track equipment delivery, installation, and testing
- Track and assign project deliverables to owners
- Maintain accurate project milestone dates
- Create visible and predictable data for business metrics and revenue forecasting
- Identify, escalate, and resolve issues affecting customer satisfaction and GE operational targets
- Coordinate resources and project documentation
- Travel to customer sites for onsite support, up to 50% of working time
- Support customer implementations across the Georgia/Alabama market and occasionally elsewhere in the Southeast
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical field experience (Field Engineer, biomedical or related field experience)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in equipment project management
- Demonstrated project management experience meeting deadlines on schedule or ahead of schedule
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and competing priorities
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites
- Legal authorization to work in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is not available
- Master’s degree or PMP preferred
- Customer service experience in a clinical environment preferred
- Knowledge or experience within the healthcare industry and GE Healthcare products preferred
- Proficiency in project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools preferred
- Six Sigma certification and/or Lean methodology experience preferred
- Familiarity with IT concepts including networking, IP addresses, switches, routers, and virtual servers preferred
- Experience with large-scale healthcare system implementation projects and healthcare standards such as HL7 and IHE preferred
- Experience with electronic patient records preferred
- Experience leading testing and go-live readiness efforts preferred
- Ability to communicate technical subjects to technical and non-technical audiences
- Must complete a drug screen where applicable
- Must meet customer vaccination mandates where applicable
