About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a complex enterprise-scale core banking data migration and conversion initiative
- Coordinate product mapping between legacy banking products and future-state product structures
- Facilitate decisions on product consolidation, migration strategies, and new product configurations
- Lead field-to-field data mapping and conversion planning
- Identify upstream and downstream system dependencies with technology and data teams
- Develop and manage data validation, testing, reconciliation, and quality assurance plans
- Coordinate mock conversions and conversion rehearsals
- Track conversion defects and drive remediation
- Lead readiness planning and production cutover execution
- Manage end-to-end delivery of the core banking conversion and data migration workstream
- Develop and manage integrated project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decision logs
- Drive project execution from initiation through closure while adhering to governance standards
- Coordinate business, technology, data, and vendor teams
- Provide executive-level reporting on project health, timelines, risks, dependencies, and key decisions
- Manage multiple concurrent initiatives within a larger transformation program
- Collaborate with business leaders, technology teams, analysts, consultants, and third-party vendors
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and project governance reviews
- Manage stakeholder communication plans and project status reporting
- Review project documentation, deliverables, and vendor statements of work
- Drive accountability across teams without direct reporting authority
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, invoices, and financial reporting
- Create and maintain resource plans, schedules, and staffing requirements
- Monitor project performance against objectives and delivery commitments
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of experience leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives within banking, credit unions, or financial services
- 5+ years of experience managing core banking conversions, enterprise data migrations, and merger, acquisition, or integration programs
- Experience delivering projects using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Demonstrated success managing highly complex project plans with numerous cross-functional dependencies
- Strong project governance, risk management, and stakeholder management experience
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
- Fiserv DNA Core Banking platform experience
- Large-scale data migration/data conversion project experience
