Key responsibilities & impact- Define logistics ITO strategy for Heavy Duty and Aero opportunities
- Partner with Sales to understand blueprints and operating plans, track key deals, quote/demand capacity, and influence winning strategies
- Initiate and manage ITO feasibility studies and provide alternate logistics solutions at offer stage
- Generate total landed cost logistics quotes throughout the ITO/OTR cycle
- Develop logistics proposals including forecasting, market and infrastructure analysis, with accurate and competitive costs
- Drive cost and cycle reductions through quoting and bidding processes
- Influence contract terms and conditions to optimize logistics solutions and minimize execution risk
- Manage ITO-OTR handover and support R&O processes and related actions
- Monitor OTR lessons learned and incorporate feedback into ITO commercial strategy
- Ensure understanding of INCO terms across commercial, contract, and execution teams
- Provide contract language protecting internal financial performance
- Engage early on key campaigns to develop optimized logistics solutions
- Work with Customs to ensure executable import/export strategy
- Develop and maintain standard RFQ specifications
- Cooperate with regional Logistics ITO Specialists to optimize the operations playbook
- Handle additional ad-hoc quote requirements
- Manage ITO reporting, KPIs, and analytics
- Follow EHS rules, complete mandatory training, and report incidents and near misses
- Perform additional tasks assigned by the immediate leader or manager
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 3 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, OR High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
- Detailed knowledge about different in-country logistics operations
- Extended knowledge of country-specific governmental regulations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
- Self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP applications
- Strong customer service mindset
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Established project management skills
- Work experience in global teams
- Integrated Management Systems knowledge, preferably ORACLE/OTM
- LEAN principles experience
- INCA Terms or Freight Forwarding experience is a plus
- Ability to work legally in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
- Must follow EHS rules, complete mandatory EHS training, and report incidents and near misses
