Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a strategic software development initiative supporting the GridBeats Virtualization Journey for Protection Relays
- Lead complex software development projects from initiation through successful delivery
- Ensure quality, timelines, and business objectives are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, resource plans, budgets, milestones, and KPIs
- Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation plans
- Drive project governance, reporting, decision-making, project reviews, retrospectives, and lessons learned
- Build relationships with engineering, product management, service, commercial teams, and senior leadership
- Communicate project status, milestones, risks, and mitigation plans
- Coordinate activities across Software Development, Product Management, Quality Assurance, Service & Support, Training, and Technical Documentation
- Apply Lean principles, monitor quality and delivery metrics, lead root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions and best practices
- Leverage AI tools for project planning, forecasting, risk identification, reporting, and productivity improvements
- Use Microsoft Project, Jira, or equivalent project management platforms
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Extensive project management experience, including leading complex software development projects
- Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and executive communication skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
- Experience using project management methodologies and tools
- Fluency in English
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications (Scrum, SAFe, or equivalent) preferred as differentiators
- Experience in industrial software, energy management, or digital product development preferred as a differentiator
- Experience with AI-enabled project management tools and methodologies preferred as a differentiator
