Key responsibilities & impact- Lead customers and stakeholders in understanding business objectives, gathering requirements, defining KPIs and reporting needs, and designing data-driven solutions
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable analytics products, dashboards, reports, KPI frameworks, and repeatable reporting solutions
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable business insights
- Translate findings into clear recommendations, narratives, presentations, and customer-facing analytics solutions
- Work with Data and Engineering teams to define data requirements, business rules, KPI calculations, and reporting requirements
- Validate data quality, business logic, and reporting accuracy
- Present findings, facilitate discussions, provide strategic recommendations, and support solution adoption
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Sales, Implementation, and Client Success teams
- Contribute to repeatable analytics solutions, standards, documentation, and best practices
- Preserve the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of company information assets
- Ensure employee and customer data privacy and complete required privacy training
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–8 years of related experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis, including direct customer or business stakeholder experience
- Bachelor's degree in analytics, statistics, mathematics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and analyzing large datasets, investigating data issues, preparing analysis-ready outputs, and validating business logic and reporting results
- Experience with relational databases, cloud data warehouses, and multiple data sources
- Understanding of relational data structures, KPI development, reporting frameworks, and analytics/business intelligence data organization
- Hands-on experience with Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, Google Data Studio, or similar platforms
- Knowledge of data quality management, validation methodologies, and troubleshooting data inconsistencies
- Working knowledge of data pipelines, data transformations, and cloud data environments
- Ability to document source-data requirements, business rules, KPI calculations, reporting logic, and acceptance criteria
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for non-technical audiences
- Experience leading customer and stakeholder discovery, requirements elicitation, discussions, and translating business needs into analytical/reporting solutions
- Ability to independently manage projects and priorities from concept through delivery
- Demonstrated success partnering with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
- Experience presenting analytical findings and recommendations to customers, executives, or senior business stakeholders
- Experience leading requirements gathering, stakeholder discovery sessions, and KPI definition workshops
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and similar analytics, reporting, and presentation tools
- Experience in tourism or hospitality industry is an ideal qualification
- Experience with hospitality technologies, particularly Simpleview CRM and event and meeting technology, is an ideal qualification
