About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead delivery of complex, high-value technology programmes for enterprise customers across global networking and managed services environments
- Manage projects valued up to and above $5M across technology and managed service solutions
- Manage up to three concurrent projects depending on size and complexity
- Own projects through the full lifecycle from pre-sales engagement and design through operational handover
- Establish and lead Project Boards and virtual project teams, including managing other Project Managers where required
- Act as primary contact for project communications and stakeholder engagement
- Facilitate internal and customer project meetings, including weekly status reviews
- Produce project status reports and governance documentation
- Develop and maintain Project Initiation Documents, including scope and customer critical success factors
- Monitor progress using project tracking tools, Microsoft Project, and project management methodologies
- Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, actions, and dependencies
- Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting
- Ensure adherence to change control and governance requirements
- Produce customer-specific documentation
- Track and report project effort against contracted services
- Support quality assurance activities and governance reviews
- Manage escalations and facilitate timely issue resolution
- Improve project management methodologies, templates, and best practices
- Support product launches and knowledge sharing
- Mentor junior Project Management team members
- Partner with Bid Management teams on large and complex customer opportunities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree qualification or significant professional experience within an IT environment
- 5+ years of Project Management experience within an ISP Managed Services, Enterprise Networking, or ICT environment
- Experience managing project budgets up to and above $5M
- Experience leading large, complex customer programmes involving multiple stakeholders and delivery teams
- Strong project governance, risk management, change control, and stakeholder management experience
- Experience using Microsoft Project and structured project management methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Experience managing project forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and escalation processes
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior project management professionals
- Experience in Telecommunications, Technology, or complex B2B services environments
- Experience with SD-WAN and Security solutions
- Prince II Practitioner, APMP, or another recognised project management qualification (nice to have)
